About / Pueblo, Colorado

It started as a hobby.
It turned into this.

Savage started in Jason's garage, flipping side-by-sides during COVID. The first one was a 2018 Can-Am Maverick X3 Max that got a full makeover. In 2023 he bought the building on West 7th, and the shop's been here since.

Parts, accessories, performance, service and repair Oil change to insurance claim — and everything in between Born and raised in Pueblo
Who comes through the door

Ranch rigs, trail rigs, race rigs.

It varies with the day and the season. Farmers and ranchers with Teryxes, Rangers and utility machines that need service. Trail riders and rock crawlers. ATVs — ag machines and trail machines both — and dirt bikes.

Ask what Savage does and you'll get the same answer every time: parts, accessories, performance, service and repair. Everything from a basic oil change to an insurance estimate, and everything in between.

Why the name? Jason wanted something people could represent — something you'd wear on a shirt and it'd still be cool even if you never sat in a side-by-side.

"We give the customer what the customer wants. Not what a dealer thinks they need."

What done right means here

Make it look like you were never there.

Every machine that comes through the shop gets the same process, busy season or slow.

Checked in, one on one

You tell us exactly what you want and why you're here. That conversation goes with the machine to the technician, and it keeps going — between the service writer, the tech and you — until it's done.

What caused it, not just what it is

A carburetor that "runs like crap" might be tight valves or low compression. Our techs hit every bullet point on a diagnostic to find the cause, not throw parts at the symptom.

A second look before you get it back

Every finished job gets a quality-control once-over against what we told you at drop-off. We're human; the goal is zero comebacks on anything we touched.

Clean, or it isn't done

No wires dangling. No zip-tie tails. Bolts all facing the same way. If running a wire inside the cage instead of along it takes twenty minutes longer, we take the twenty minutes.

Stepped back from his other company to be around when his daughter was born, and started flipping side-by-sides out of the garage. Built his own X3 into a single-purpose machine for The Gauntlet. Would rather talk to people at the counter than be called a dealer.

Came over from Fuel Powersports. Builds suspension setups from how you actually ride — weight, tires, travel, terrain — and holds every job to the quality-control standard above. The shop is in his hands, and he does things the right way.

Community

Everything in this sport comes back to one thing.

Savage was a sponsor of Adrenaline Park and The Gauntlet at Pikes Peak International Raceway — twenty minutes from the shop, a place to show up, ride, meet people and let them see what we build. Jason calls it the coolest community he's been part of in 52 years.

It goes past side-by-sides. When wildfire came close to home, the shop overnighted parts, picked machines up after hours and stayed late to keep the firefighters' rigs running. And a build for the Pueblo Police Department is about to roll out of the bay.

We don't call ourselves the best or the premier anything. We know who we are and what we do, we stay in our lane, and we hold our own standards — the reputation is yours to give.
